LED landscape lighting is an artistic embodiment of the city's historical heritage, but how to eliminate security risks? This requires reliable electrical protection, the selection of LED drive power in line with relevant national regulations and standards! However, there are still some problems in the actual application, such as the requirements in the LED drive power supply, including high current control accuracy, high reliability, safety isolation, etc., the main performance is as follows:
1. landscape lighting system security issues:
people-oriented, in landscape lighting places, personal safety should be taken as the first element, the selected driving power supply must meet the corresponding safety standards, in the process of installation and construction, must strictly follow the manufacturer's instructions and relevant operating guidelines for standardized operation and construction; When the lighting circuit and LED drive power supply have electrical failure, in order to prevent personal electric shock, electrical circuit damage and electrical fire, short circuit protection, overload protection and grounding protection shall be provided to cut off the power supply or send out alarm signals. In order to achieve this purpose, fuses, circuit breakers and residual current protectors are generally used for protection. Select the corresponding LED drive power supply is to pay attention to the following aspects: (1), as far as possible to choose with electrical isolation of the LED drive power supply. ⑵ The insulation resistance between the live part of the LED drive power supply and the ground terminal is greater than 2MΩ. the general safety requirements for LED lamps and lanterns refer to that LED lamps and lanterns should be designed and manufactured so that they can work safely during normal use and do not cause harm to people or the surrounding environment.

Protection against electric shock is divided:
class 0 lamps: lamps that rely on basic insulation as protection against electric shock, such countries are strictly prohibited from production and sale;
class I lamps: the protection against electric shock of lamps not only depends on the basic insulation, but also includes additional safety measures, that is, the easy-to-reach conductive parts are connected to the protective grounding conductor in the fixed wiring of the facility, so that the easy-to-reach conductive parts will not be charged in case of basic insulation failure;

Many small factories, there is no safety awareness, LED lamps can be lit. Many engineers say that LED lamps, a dozen pressure will damage the LED lamp beads, this understanding is wrong, is very unsafe.
How much pressure should be pressed in the production process?

the above picture shows (all-plastic shell) reinforced insulation. Reinforcing insulation is a single insulation system added to live parts, which provides protection against electric shock equivalent to double insulation.
Important reminder: outdoor lamps and lanterns are made into low voltage. electrical appliances directly linked to high voltage such as transformers or switching power supplies are installed in places where people cannot contact. low voltage is what we often call the working voltage lower than 36V induced by human body. currently, the commonly used voltage types on the market are DC24V/AC24V/DC12V/AC12V/DC5V respectively
protection against electric shock:
LED lamps and lanterns should be manufactured so that when the LED lamps and lanterns must be turned on after installation and wiring according to normal use and replacement of LED light source (module) or electrical components, even if it is not operated by hand, the live parts are inaccessible. Basic insulation components cannot be used on the outer surface of lamps without accidental contact prevention measures.
One. The insulating properties of paint, enamel, paper and similar materials shall not be relied upon to provide the required protection against electric shock and against short circuits;
II. Lamps and lanterns equipped with capacitors larger than 0.5uf shall be equipped with discharge devices, so that the voltage at both ends of the capacitor shall not exceed 50V 1min after the lamps and lanterns are disconnected from the power supply of rated voltage;
three. The cover and other components that provide protection against electric shock should have sufficient mechanical strength and should be reliably fixed without loosening during normal operation;
four. Use the test finger to touch every possible position. If necessary, apply a force of 10N to show the contact with live parts with an electric indicator. The movable parts, including the lampshade, should be placed in the most unfavorable position with bare hands. If the movable parts are metal parts, they should not touch the live parts of lamps or LED light sources (modules).
We may not know much about outdoor lamps at close range. Let's use a ceiling lamp to discuss and analyze the protection against electric shock, as shown in the figure:
can such products meet the protection against electric shock? Some testing agencies think it is qualified, and some think it is unqualified.
First of all, you have to judge whether it is a live part. If the power supply is a resistance-capacitance step-down, non-isolated power supply and linear power supply, it is unqualified.
The plastic sheet only covers the lamp beads, and the creepage distance should not be enough for non-isolated drives. If I am not mistaken, the plastic sheet only covers the edge of the lamp bead, which is definitely unqualified.
There should be a problem with the exposed screws.
1. There should be an insulating sheet at the bottom of the terminal;
2. Lock aluminum base plate screw should have insulation sheet;
3. The aluminum substrate is not visible when connected to electricity.
Does the plastic sheet cover the lamp bead or avoid the empty lamp bead? I can't see it in the picture.
If the outer plastic cover of the product is fixed with screws, the result is different,
anti-electric shock protection, safety, low voltage ≤ 50V, mechanical strength, electrical clearance, creepage distance, etc. are all factors to be considered.
Q&A
q: Why do some LED lamps turn off the switch and still light up when the user uses them?
A: There are two problems. One is leakage (>10uA) in the product design;
second, when the user installs, the live wire and the neutral wire are connected incorrectly, or the switch has an indicator light enough to form a loop.
It is impossible to cause electromagnetic wave interference. Which one?
With a leakage resistor, only the voltage on the electrolytic capacitor can be discharged, but the power supply voltage cannot be discharged.
Q: Can 24V be used? Why 12V,10A test?
